On the 25th October 2013, the students and faculty of the PG department of cosmetology and health care planned a trip to the orphanage to spend some time with the inmates and also planned and organised a lunch for the residents of the ashram.
The visit was a learning experience for the students, were they saw the discipline and confidence in them.
The inmates were in the age group of the 6 to 8 years and have separate hostels for girls and boys. The rooms were well kept, clean and tidy.
We left for the Arya Anathalya in the college bus at around 1:30 pm had a brief introduction with the residents and then the students served them lunch and later distributed fruits and sweets. It was amazing to see that none ate before reciting a group prayer thanking god for all the goodness.
At around 4 pm we left the ashram with a promise in the heart to come back and involve our self in such charities and become better humans.
